Meet Our #swimsuitmodel – Bri Stein

Meet Bri (@bristeinartistry). This beauty lover from Lake Country, BC is a Makeup Artist and #swimsuitmodel.

Why did you choose this career path?

I was born to do it! I’ve always been passionate about art. I love that makeup is another form of self-expression.

How would you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as a very kind, artistic and fun person who absolutely adores people.

What are three words your best friend would use to describe you?

Funny, kind, and creative.

How do you hope to connect with and inspire your followers?

I hope to connect with my followers by being able to relate to them on a personal level.

We selected you for this campaign because we believe your life is aspirational. What do you feel makes your life aspirational?

I believe my life is aspirational because I have worked hard to build my business of eight years from nothing. I’ve worked harder than anyone I know to become the best person I can possibly be.

Why did you decided to participate in this campaign?

Why not? What an amazing opportunity to learn about myself, push myself out of my comfort zone, push my abilities and see what happens! Swimco has given me SO much confidence, they’re the reason I said “YES”!

What does being a #swimsuitmodel mean to you?

Being a #swimsuitmodel means a LOT to me. I am not your typical swimsuit model. I am plus sized, I have flaws; I am a normal human being. Being able to model for such an amazing company and show/inspire other people that THEY TOO can be great is absolutely incredible!

What makes a body beautiful?

Confidence makes a body beautiful.

Can you describe your self-confidence journey?

I have struggled with my weight for my entire life. I was severely abused as a child, and I used food to cope with my feelings. My weight was a constant struggle and when I reached adolescence I realized that I was bigger than everyone else and was bullied for it. I hated my body, I hated myself. It wasn’t until my 20’s that I started to like parts of my body, and with every year I love myself more and more.

If you could say one thing to someone who may not be confident with their body, what would it be?

Life is way too short to care what other people think of you. It matters what YOU think, and you’re beautiful!
